It is good idea have all mesages in one forum, but elodie´s forum looks like tree - if you wish read message you must click on it. Personaly, I dont like such forums. I prefer forums like GK has. Starting picture is nice if you will see it first time. Then is anoying - you must scroll down. smilies are good, but I can live without it. I think, all teammates should vote and if majority will be for, then we can move our forum, but no sooner. If I want visit this forum, I use link on our team profile. Now I cant and must seek among other threads in team forum. I was very surprised, and angry, when I clicked on link and I saw another forum. Hope all will be decided soon by voting, not by simple "Move it!" |

It's also true that with this method every subject of a thread is more easily identifiable,we could have a part where to communicate games results and a part where to comment or to chat making it all a bit more organized. Could you make it less funny and simpler? The idea to have a separate forum is fine. About the games: Paolo, please give me an opponent within 100 point around my rating. When choosing a player please check if his/her rating is growing fast or not. It might be important cause sometimes you start playing with a player having 1500 points, which is about my average, and then, after some time you see that his/her actual rating is close to 1900. I understand your point, when you said that it is good to play against strong players. BUT NOT SO STRONG! I am not a professional and would like to enjoy playing a game but not to be just “killed”. Actually, people from our team, who have the maximal points (including Paolo and Ciza) had opponents within their rating or even lower. By the way, congrats to Paolo for attracting so many smart and pretty ladies in our team. Best wishes to all! |

You can see her first attempt under my profile :) About pairings, I don't have all that decisional power, I cannot choose which player of a team you'll face when sending a challenge (I can when we receive a challenge). What I can do (and I do it) is asking the other team captain to fairly match up my players. In the same match against a team someone can have a better pairing and someone worst but most of times the whole match seems quite balanced. About average ratings, I've done a pair of sums and andrej is right, my average rating is 112 points better then my opponents, ciza's is 15 points higher, andrej's is 100 points better then his opponent's while supremo's average is 40-50 points lower then his opponent's. I'll try to work on this. Paolo. |
