Message:
I don't wish to offend anyone,as I am new to the site, but many of my opponents seem to leave a game right in the middle of play,(usually if I seem too have the upper hand). Is this atypical gk protocol?I hope so.
I wonder if Gk might consider an addendum to the rules of conduct,to include abiding by the rules of good sportsmanship.just my 2 cents.
As some of you who have clobbered me in the past already know,I will always "finish the game"

you talking about blitz? or just ordinary games? because in the latter a player can choose when to move and as long as they don't time-out they can do whatever they want... you agreed to a game with x days time per move and so they can wait x days if they want to... patience can sometimes be a very nice virtue on gameknot =)

in blitz, don't bother too much, some players will leave a game instead of just giving up, in the end it's the same result...

Unless you are talking about blitz...anything goes there, people lose their connection, swear, talk gibberish then leave etc...best to stay with the civilized players in GK " proper ".

GM Sébastien Feller took the board five gold medal and €5,000 with 6/9, including the win below against England's David Howell, where it is claimed that almost every black move is the first choice of the Firebird program. Feller's Olympiad team-mates backed the FFE, though the banned trio deny wrongdoing and have lodged appeals. According to witness evidence presented to its disciplinary committee, the FFE alleges that at critical game moments IM Cyril Marzolo fed moves from the live online games into ...
