Message:
Does anyone knows if software for a personal chessgames database exists? Something like the games database here on gameknot, but one for personal use. (I play in a chessclub and I'd like to make an inventary of my games...)

Virtually Any Database System . . .

. . . lets you make personal databases. For example, with ChessBase, you can create as many databases as you like, adding games from any source you desire. Many players here create a personal database for their current games so that they can store their analysis and notes as the game progresses. Personally, I usually just use the "note" feature here during games, but when I played in the GK-IECC match, the game wasn't on GK, so I made a database for that game. In addition, I export my games here in pgn notation as I finish them and add them to my main CB file.

The chess experience contrasts with formal education, which, regrettably, is often ...
